Hi and welcome to Toki school. My name is Geovanny Navarro-Bustos.

I was educated in Australia. I attended University to study Computer Science.

I decided to become a teacher 2 years ago after a long information technology career.

I have been working as an online English teacher now for 2 years.

I have taught online English now for 2 years.

At the beginning of my lessons, I like to introduce myself to the students and the students introduce themselves to me. This breaks the ice so to speak and sets the mood for the rest of the lesson. I then go over the English content with my student at a steady and consistent manner. I like to involve the student as much as possible. At the end of the lesson, I give an assessment to my students on pronunciation, grammar and other.

I follow the principles of Authentic language input like videos, audios, and texts. I also use student interactions with the teacher and other students. Lastly, I like to give tasks to students.

In my spare time I like to play tennis, sing, walk and lift weights to keep healthy. I also like to help people

if I can.
